§ 1-11. Imprisonment in default of payment of fine.

  • If a fine is assessed against any party by a judge having jurisdiction over the matter, upon conviction under this Code or any of the ordinances of the city, and in the event the fines and costs are not then paid, the judge shall sentence the party so in default to work out the fines and costs under the direction of the city authorities, allowing not less than $15.00 for each day's service.
